Munch & Move is an evidence-based program that works with early childhood education and care services. It supports the healthy growth and development of young children from birth to age five.

Educators in preschools, long day care, occasional care and family care services can join Munch & Move to receive free training, support and resources. The program shares key Munch & Move messages:

  • Eat more fruit and vegetables.
  • Choose healthier snacks.
  • Make water your drink.
  • Get active each day.
  • Turn off the screen and get active.
  • Encourage and support breastfeeding.

In south west Sydney, Munch & Move is run by the Health Promotion Service, Early Years team.
