Parent Education Classes are for anyone having a baby, including mums, dads, partners and anyone giving their support. The classes prepare you for:

• labour, 
• birth, 
• breastfeeding, and 
• early parenting. 

Parent Education Classes will give you confidence:

• in your knowledge to make informed decisions about your care.
• in your skills in caring for your newborn when you get home.

Classes are available at Bankstown, Bowral, Campbelltown, Camden, Fairfield, and Liverpool Hospitals.

Private Classes

There is also the option of paying for privately run Antenatal classes. These classes will cover similar information, so you do not need to do both the hospital class and a privately run class.
